Black Lime Reserve: A Mendocino Masterpiece
Hailing from Northern California’s Mendocino County, Black Lime Reserve marks the inaugural collaboration between breeders Mean Gene and Leo Stone under Aficionado Seeds. Known for their deep roots in the Emerald Triangle, Aficionado crafts elite genetics that frequently steal the spotlight at the Emerald Cup, packaged with their signature elegance.
This strain earned 2nd place at the 2014 Emerald Cup, blending the rare Black Lime (a 9th-place finisher in 2007) with Chemdawg Special Reserve, a 2012 Emerald Cup champion. Black Lime traces its lineage to heritage strains like Northern Lights, Afghani, Oaxacan, and Burmese. Chemdawg Special Reserve, a fusion of Elite Chemdawg #4 and Stardawg, is celebrated by Aficionado as the pinnacle of Chemdawg genetics in seed form.
Prized by a tight-knit group of cultivators, Aficionado’s seeds are both rare and costly, making Black Lime Reserve a coveted gem in cannabis culture.

This locally grown craft medicinal grade cannabis is grown with very carefully chosen inputs. Many organic producers utilize questionable organic ingredients such as feather meal, bone meal and blood meal made from conventional animals from the worst slaughter houses, and still able to achieve organic standards. They also use other approved organic inputs that really do not benefit the microorganisms in the soil, and in fact harm them. This growers inputs are carefully selected according to its origins and effects on the soil ecosystem.

Post-Harvest Processing
Our fine herb hung as a whole plant and dried slowly without the use of direct air contact to avoid irregular or over-drying. We strive for the optimal slow drying at 60 deg. F and 60% humidity, and finally curing properly for at least 3-5 weeks to maximize potency and terpenes.
Our cannabis is hand trimmed dry to retain its maximum natural potency and medicinal value.
You will not find a cleaner cannabis product on the Canadian market. Our living soil cannabis uses no synthetic or industrial fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides etc., a true medicinal cannabis.
IPM (Integrated Pest Management)
We only use the cleanest non-toxic pest management methods such as ensuring a diverse ecosystem of beneficial insects and organisms to prevent any infestations of the bad guys. We use regular foliar applications of EM-5, a totally non-toxic fermented formula made in house from a combination EM-1 (Effective Micro-organisms), apple cider vinegar, distilled organic grain alcohol, molasses, and fresh plant material.
